The Turret Home
Cleveland Court, Lower Plenty

A sprawling Frank Loyd Wright inspired masterpiece crowning the prestigious Cleveland Estate

This home was commissioned by returning clients who have bought, sold, renovated and built many houses. After securing what is arguably the best 1 acre lot in the prestigious Cleveland Estate they engaged the services of Seidler Group to create the ultimate luxury retreat.

The brief included a tennis court, indoor / outdoor pool, and botanical style gardens. The house needed to contain cutting edge technology, be modern in design and blend into the local rural environment. This was achieved by taking inspiration from Frank Loyd Wrights style of architecture, using a low pitched roof with large overhanging eaves and incorporating feature turrets and extensive use of stone cladding. This resulted in a light-filled home with grand open spaces and soaring ceiling heights. Only the latest in modern technology were used throughout ensuring the home is energy efficient along with providing the utmost in comfort and usability. Many more innovations where used externally including enormous water storage tanks located under the tennis court and bore water with desalination plant. Extensive solar panels with an inverter system to power the house was installed, as well as heat the pool. All of which provides a very sustainable outcome which future proofs the house and the magnificent botanic style garden for life.
